Painkiller Ressurection is an action-packed shooter in which you have to slaughter demons in Purgatory with an array of insane weaponry. The game was developed by Homegrown Games and published by THQ Nordic on October 28th, 2009.

William "Bill" Sherman was blown to pieces by his own C4 payload which was supposed to take out a South American drug lord. But, something went wrong and he managed to take out a bus full of innocent civilians. Hell wants to claim his soul for the things that he did, but since Bill is currently in purgatory and heaven's warriors noticed him, he will be given another chance to redeem himself by doing the only thing he's good at, massacring things with all kinds of crazy tools.

Painkiller Ressurection comes with a thrilling story with a lot of details, fast and hectic levels, and huge regions that players can explore as they hunt down the scum of Hell. This title tells its special storyline by using engaging "graphic novel" style cutscenes that take you right into the action and the characters of this tale.
