This sequel to the original castle sim brings you back to the deserts of the Middle East circa 1189, but with a powerful new 3D engine, and physics powered by Havok that will give you the realistic destruction this sequel will bring you everything you loved about the original game, but with so much more.
To prove this, the game will once again focus on not only building up your castle kingdom, but also the real-time strategy elements of expanding your world and fighting in major battles. As a Crusader Knight or Arabic freedom fighter, you'll gather forces to decide the fate of the land, or at least, how you think the land should be.. In two major campaigns, you'll be either Richard the Lionheart or the Sultan of Syria, who must overcome not only their enemies, but the weather and other dangers the land has to offer. Rise up to become the greatest leader of the time!
But in battle, you must have many options, and Stronghold Crusader 2 has you commanding over 25 units that can make your army very powerful if used correctly. And you will need them for the battles to come.
