A Plague Tale: Innocence is a medieval stealth adventure game in which you follow the tale of a young girl and her little brother as they make their way through the grimmest hours of history. The game was developed by Asobo Studio and published b Focus Home Interactive on May 14th, 2019.
Young Amicia and her little brother Hugo are in a dire situation. The Inquisition is hunting them down for unknown reasons, and since these two can't handle adult knights, avoiding them at all times is the key to surviving. But, when Amicia and Hugo aren't running from the Inquisition, there's the always present threat of the rats that are swarming all over the place and devouring anything that they encounter. Only light seems to scare away the vicious hordes of these hungry little beasts, so use that as a tool against them.
Amicia and Hugo didn't grow up together, as Hugo was a sick child that spent the entirety of his childhood locked away. While they aren't familiar with each other at first, the bond between these two will increase over the course of the game and become the thing that keeps both of them alive. Trust is important when you're facing impossible odds in a cruel and unforgiving world in which A Plague Tale: Innocence is set in.
As these two teams up with other children and try to escape the brutal horrors of this world, innocence is lost and the struggle to survive emerges.
