Driftland: The Magic Revival is a strategy game in which you take on the role of a potent wizard that can move and connect entire floating islands. The game was developed and published by Star Drifters on April 18th, 2019.
Mages of old fought in an epic war that devastated the planet of Driftland, and now one spell holds the broken pieces together. In order to avoid complete and utter annihilation, all factions called a truce and did their best, but they could not repair the damage. Only by spending all of their available magic have they managed to keep their world together. After many years passed, the dark ages have been left behind now that new mages appeared. A new source of magic means that conflict will rise again, and only the new mages with great power can decide if Driftland is going to be put back together or destroyed for good.
In Driftland: The Magic Revival, players take on the role of a Mage Overlord. You have your own castle, your own tower, and a small realm. Because you possess vast magical powers, as a Mage Overlord you can explore a procedurally generated world and grab floating islands to add them to your kingdom. There's no need to micromanage your units that include the likes of mages, warriors, and archers, all of which can tame and ride flying beasts.
The game features a stunning procedurally generated world, an economy based on resources and magic, the ability to relocate and terraform floating islands, many mythical creatures that can be tamed, and both single player and multiplayer modes.
