DuckTales: Remastered is a beautiful hand-crafted reimagining of one of the most cherished 8-bit titles of all time. Go back to one of the golden ages of gaming, now refined with a level of detail that will please the most hardened devoted Disney or retro Capcom fan alike.

Featuring hand-drawn animated sprites, authentic Disney character voices talent and richly painted level backgrounds from the classic cartoon TV series, Scrooge McDuck and family come to life like never before. The gameplay retains the authenticity of its 8-bit predecessor; simple and fun, with slight modifications to improve gameplay flow and design.

Embark on an authentic DuckTales adventure, as Scrooge McDuck and his three nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie travel to exotic locations throughout the world in their quest to retrieve the five Legendary Treasures.

All you many Scrooge McDuck fans will be pleased to hear DuckTales: Remastered has returned to Steam. Remember when it just kind of, went away, last year? It was pretty weird, Capcom told everyone it was getting delisted from all the digital stores, then they put it on sale for 75% off as a “farewell price drop”. They didn’t even give us a reason. They also haven’t given a reason as to why it’s suddenly returning. Weird. (more…)

Heads up, everyone; DuckTales: Remastered is leaving digital storefronts in a duck-blur, and will no longer be available for purchase beginning August 9th, 2019. If you’ve already purchased it in the past or if you buy it before it's gone, you’ll still be able to re-download and play the game, so pogo jump your way into Scrooge’s Money Bin while you can! DuckTales: Remastered is also getting a farewell price drop for 75% off before it's removed for purchase. The game will be available on Steam u...

Capcom has offered a warning to all potential purchasers of DuckTales: Remastered; the game is being delisted on digital storefronts, starting tomorrow, 8th August. Of course, interested parties haven't exactly been short of time to take the plunge previously. Developer WayForward's gorgeous reworking of Capcom's beloved 1989 NES platformer initially launched for PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U all the way back in 2013. For those still on the fence, however, Capcom has one last offer up its sleeve ...

In deference to cartoon physics, there s going to be a Scrooge McDuck-shaped hole in Steam as Capcom has announced that they re removing Duck Tales: Remastered from sale. But before that, they are putting it on sale, in case you want to grab it like a certain thrifty duck snatching for a golden coin. (more…)

Everybody was excited about DuckTales: Remastered, the 2013 update of the hit NES platformer from 1998, until it actually arrived and we all learned an important lesson about nostalgia. It wasn't bad, really, just a little too faithful to its roots—"very much a 24-year-old game," we said in our review—yet lacking the touches that would enable players to enjoy the game as it really was, like an 8-bit mode or the original soundtrack. If you haven't tried it yet, y...
