ECHO is a third-person adventure game with a sci-fi setting. It was developed and published by ULTRA ULTRA on September 19th, 2017.
En was stuck in stasis for over a century, but now she finally arrives at their destination, which is a strange palace, a place from legends. Use ancient technologies in order to bring back a life that shouldn't have been lost, and prepare to face something unthinkable in the old halls. The story kicks things off with discovery and exploration, but over time you start to notice certain things. This Palace is studying you. It is learning about everything that it can to use against you. In order to progress, players need to rely on manipulation, stealth, and action, in order to defeat the ultimate enemy, which is in this case none other than yourself.
ECHO makes you constantly change in order to overcome “Echoes”, exact copies of yourself that were created by the Palace. Once you start sprinting, the Echoes become faster. Start to sneak around the place and the Echoes will be stealthier. Shoot at them and they will learn to shoot back. Your choices and behavior are constantly monitored by the Palace. But, there is a small window where the Palace reboots in order to update the Echoes with your latest behavior patterns. During this time the player gets to do everything they want without that information getting uploaded to the copies.
Can you overcome all these challenging obstacles in order to find out how the Palace is connected to En and her past? Who exactly is this person that she is trying to revive at all costs? There is only one way to find out.
