Welcome to the most ambitious installment yet of a long running and critically acclaimed franchise. Fallout 4, brought to you by the good people at Bethesda Game Studios, brings you into a deep and immersive post apocalyptic world full of mystery, action, and adventure.

You are the only known survivor of Vault 111, the shelter you fled to with your wife and young son to avoid nuclear fallout. Now, you must learn to call the wasteland home, unravel its mysteries and exploit its strange curiosities.

The world of Fallout 4 is massive, and you have the option of roaming it from end to end, in whatever fashion you prefer. Make friends, gather a whole group to travel with you, or set out as a lone wolf. But make sure you’re well equipped before you go, because the wasteland can be an unforgiving sort of place.

With Fallout 4’s trademark S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system, you can create the sort of character you would want to be. Excel at firearms, communication, eloquence, or just beating people over the head. In addition, utilize the V.A.T.S. system, which returns to Fallout to make it easy and intuitive for your to pacify your targets with non-lethal attacks, or go straight for the headshot.

Explore the wasteland to your heart’s content, and collect whatever you can to craft whatever you’ll need. In Fallout 4, you’ll have to learn your own independence in this post apocalyptic world, or you’ll likely wind up dead!

Last month, we got a good look at an enormous and ambitious mod coming up for Fallout 4. Called Fallout: London, it's a project that promises a "DLC-sized" addition to Bethesda's RPG game with a post-apocalyptic take on the UK's capital. There's been little word since, but today the modders have posted a tease about a new location that'll feature in the mod. In the original Fallout: London reveal trailer (below), we got a good peep at various recognisable, real-life locations given the Fallout t...

Ever felt like Fallout 4 could stand to be a little more, well, Blair Witch? If you fancy stumbling around in the dark while being chased by unseen forces, this might be the mod for you. The Wilderness is a chunky Fallout 4 PC mod by El Ha that offers a worldspace "at least as big" as Nuka World, with a bunch of abandoned buildings and a spooky main quest. It's a map that often feels deliberately barren, with the player encouraged to traverse vast distances in search of shelter and supplies. Tha...

There are very few videogame animals as famous as Dogmeat. Introduced in the original Fallout, the canine companion was a massive pain in the ass but also a very good boy (as all dogs are), leading many players to go to extreme lengths to protect him from his own tendency toward self destruction... Read more.

If you're a Fallout 4 fan, you might have heard the very sad news that the real-life inspiration behind virtual pupper Dogmeat recently passed away. Called River, she was a big, gorgeous German Shepherd who not only helped bring Dogmeat's likeness, animation, and personality to life, but an important part of the dev team behind the post-apocalyptic RPG game. Now, fans and modders are showing their love for River with in-game tributes. Modder Mangaclub has created a lovely memorial to River in th...

Earlier this month, we got our first really good look at a huge - and hugely impressive - "DLC-sized" Fallout 4 mod on the way from a group of talented creators called Fallout: London. Featuring a map roughly the same size as the base game's own Commonwealth, the mod is a post-apocalyptic, Fallout-style take on the UK capital - and now we've got a good look at even more content coming its way. In a new Fallout: London 'Second Quarter 2021 Progress' video clip, the modding team gives us a whistle...

Flakey Skin
Toad realized that nobody plays main story as much as side quests so he put endless fetch and kill missions in this and plenty of makeshift settlements to turn the lone wanderer into a mercenary errand boy.
