Starter Edition includes the same content as Standard Edition, including Story and Multiplayer modes. It is compatible with the season pass and DLCs. The difference is the number of heroes available when you start. Starter Edition includes six playable heroes (instead of 12), with three fully unlocked. Other heroes can be unlocked for 8,000 Steel each (8–15 hours of gameplay, depending on how you play, or $8).
For Honor is a video game developed and published by Ubisoft. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
In this medieval fighting game, players pick between three types of warriors: the knight, the samurai, and the viking. There are three factions in the game as well and each of these represents one of those three types of fighters. You have the Iron Legion, the Chosen, and the Warborn. Each of these factions has its own unique classes. The heroes that you pick in the game have their own special fighting styles, weapons, and skills. When engaging in melee combat, players engage in the "Art of Battle". This is a complex tactical combat system that puts the two opposing players in a dueling mode. Then, the players clash swords to see which one is going to end up victorious. You can set the direction of your attack to be from above, the left, and from the right. This system allows for exciting and engaging fights, as players can observe their opponent and their movements to predict where the attack is coming from, block it, and then launch a counter-attack.
The Art of Battle system in For Honor is deep and fluid, and it rewards skill and smart thinking. We can also adjust the strength of your attack because the developers wanted us to feel the weight of our weapon. Thanks to this, each attack you pull off successfully in this game feels realistic and rewarding, and each duel is an exciting competition of skill.
