Katana ZERO is an action-platformer with an impressive neo-noir artstyle, chaotic action, and instant-death combat, perfect for anyone that's looking for an intense adrenaline rush. The game was developed by Askiisoft and published by Devolver Digital on April 18th, 2019.
Tear apart your enemies, dash away from their attacks, and even manipulate time in order to uncover your buried past. Combat in this game is skill-oriented, and as the action starts to speed up, you can either keep up with the breakneck pace of the game or die. Your opposition is cunning and relentless, and only you can use your skills in order to deflect gunfire back at the one that's shooting at you. An attack is about to land? Dodge it swiftly and rush up to your enemy in order to execute them on the spot. Brute force isn't everything though, as Katana ZERO gives you the option of manipulating enemies and environments by using devious traps and devastating explosives. No survivors, you need to utterly crush all threats.
All the levels in the game are designed in a way to give the player ultimate freedom. The methods of completion are vast and different, and it's up to you to figure out how you want to tackle each one. Be creative, be swift, be merciless, and be effective. Adapt on the fly and eliminate anyone that stands in your way. Katana ZERO also has an enthralling story which the player sees through epic cinematic sequences which are seamlessly thrown into the gameplay.
