Mortal Kombat 11 is the next installment in the incredibly violent and popular fighting game franchise known as Mortal Kombat. The newest title in this extreme series of games got announced at the 2018 Game Awards by Netherrealm Studios. We can all expect to start busting some heads and crushing some spines on April 23rd, which is when the game is getting released.

If you're a fan of blood, gore, and intense action-packed combat, then the Mortal Kombat franchise is perfect for you. Punches and kicks that are heavy, special attacks that allow you to create some special combinations, and Fatalities, which are extremely brutal finishing moves that you are able to do after you defeat your opponent. All of this makes the action of these games unique in the fighting games genre. This franchise has many iconic characters like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Shao Kahn, and so on. Everyone that wants Mortal Kombat 11 can preorder it on consoles (that includes Nintendo Switch) and the PC on December 8th, 2018. Pre-ordering the game means you get Shao Kahn as a playable character and you also get access to the game's beta.

Mortal Kombat 11 will feature Custom Character Variations that allow the players to change all kinds of aspects of their fighters in order to tailor their own unique playstyle. A brand new graphics engine fully shows the violence of this game in all of its bloody and unmerciful glory. The Joker will soon be available to download and play in Mortal Kombat 11, but due to the character already being available to fight in-game and through the magic of early access granted to YouTubers, there's a lot about the way the DC supervillain works already out there. We also know a lot about what Joker says in Mortal Kombat 11, and there are loads of Easter eggs, film references and cool nods this way and that for fans to find and enjoy. But one exchange in particular sounds like a clear t...

Anyone who's into the competitive side of Mortal Kombat 11 will know of the scourge of Geras. This time-wielding monster is one of the most powerful characters in the game - some say overpowered - and a lot of that has to do with his speed, huge damage, throw loops and easy to trigger Krushing Blows.
