Onward is a military simulation multiplayer shooter that is designed to give you an incredibly immersive and action-packed virtual reality experience that you won't find anywhere else on the market. The game was developed and published by Downpour Interactive on August 30th, 2016.

This is a type of shooter where you need to use coordination, communication, and your marksmanship skills in order to stay alive and successfully complete your objectives. Play around your teammates and make plans on the fly and execute them together, doesn't matter if you're playing against other players or if you're playing with players against AI. The game features a dynamic time of day, weather effects which can hinder you or be a boon, depending on how you adapt to them, and various different environments and scenarios that will make each new skirmish feel different and unique.

Onward doesn't have HUDs, there are no crosshairs, and there's a limited amount of respawns available to each player, so the combat is merciless and incredibly engaging, as players give it their all in order to stay alive and take down the enemy. This VR military shooter features 5v5 online multiplayer matches, solo and coop missions against AI, 30 different weapons for you to use, artificial locomotion, objective based game modes that require team play, and much more!

A fix has been released to address a security concern related to the custom maps. We have disallowed specific components on custom maps.
