Rise to Ruins is a godlike village simulator that was inspired by cult classics from the 90s that was developed by Raymond Doerr and published by SixtyGig Games on October 27th, 2014.

You remember brilliant strategies like Settlers? Now mix in some challenging tower defense elements and survival mechanics into the game and you get a village simulator, but a kind never seen before. The simple yet addictive element of real-time strategy combined with the fun of godlike titles and the complexity of village simulators makes Rise to Ruins a game unlike any other in this genre.

The game isn't that easy to learn. Most of the time you are trying to keep your village alive through the use of village management. Always try to find new and complex plans to keep everyone safe and sound. You will fail many times, but each new playthrough is going to last longer as you learn more about the flow of the game.

Rise to Ruins has Sandbox, Peaceful, and Survival as its game modes.
Survival is the default game mode, the way it's meant to be played. The challenge is great, death happens often, but it also helps you constantly learn about the game and how to beat it.
Peaceful is meant to be a much more enjoyable and easier experience with lower monster spawn rates.
Sandbox is for you that want to create an empire and expand it endlessly as you can configure everything to suit you and your playstyle.
