The war is on in Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. Take to the trenches in this tactical first person shooter from Antimatter Games and Tripwire Interactive. The sequel to 2013’s Rising Storm, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam takes players to the late stages of the Vietnam War, in a gritty, authentic, and brutal recreation of the conflict.
Take part in the game’s massive, 64 player combat scenarios. Equip yourself with a full arsenal of rifles, grenade launchers, and brutal modern weapon systems. Choose your side and fight as either the US or Vietnamese forces, and master the unique weapons and tactics available to each side.
Take up arms with an arsenal of over 30 weapons that are authentic to the setting of the game. Of course, there are different firearms available depending on whether you play as the Vietcong or the US forces. Even play style and tactics are different depending on which side you play as. Do you prefer the straight-forward, conventional style of the US forces, or the strategic guerilla tactics of the Viet Cong and the NVA? The choice is yours.
Take the fight to realistic recreations of locations in Vietnam, from jungles to rice fields, and from vast rolling hills to bustling cities. And in Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, winning isn’t dependent upon experience, rank, or money spent on equipment. Every player in the game starts on an even footing, and the only thing that players can do to distinguish themselves and get an edge over their opponents is to practice their skills and outplay their enemies.
