We find ourselves in middle Europe of the year 1400. The dark middle ages, once dominated through nobles and clergy, ends and a new era begins: the age of the free cities of trading and of the free mind!
In The Guild 3 you create a family dynasty which can last for centuries. While the world around you and your dynasty rearrange itself again and again - all non-player figures make their own decisions - you have to prove your skills in handicrafts and trading, at social occasion and finally in politics and in malicious intrigues.
The Guild 3 is a unique mixture of economic simulation, strategy game, historical life simulation and role playing game in real time 3D, with atmospheric voice recording and medieval soundtrack.

Another short update on what we are doing at the moment. Naturally, we are still hunting for bugs and balancing issues. For example, one of the most annoying bugs you face during your play is that transporters on manually set up routes restart their tour with waypoint 1 after they have been interrupted. We were able to solve the issue with a lot of time and sweat… and not all of it was due to the heat ;-) This damn bug was buried very deep in the code and not easy to fix. We are still working on...


Good morning everyone, We are very sorry for the inconvenience you had with multiplayer since patch 1.0.3 . While the patch has helped some with their issues in participating in a multiplayer game, unfortunately for others it has made the situation worse. Since the first reports of issues with multiplayer since the patch was released, we worked until late in the evening to find a solution without success. Hello folks, Patch 1.0.3 contains a lot of bug fixes for crashes. Unfortunately, we were not yet able to solve all server-issues for multiplayer but we did not want to keep the patch longer from you. Hello everyone, This is a short update on what we are working on at the moment. We received reports of players stating that the game usually immediately crashed when starting (some could play for a short amount of time) and we on our side were never able to reproduce this. Hello everyone! This hotfix patch takes care of the issue with the no more moving shadows from round 2 on. Nothing else has been changed. Please note: saved games from version 1.0.1 will work with this hotfix patch. (build number: 656917)
