Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, or TABS for short, is a hilarious and chaotic physics-based tactics game that has been developed and published by Landfall on April 1st, 2019.

Will you be experiencing accurate and realistic warfare throughout the ages in this game? Maybe, maybe not, but it will definitely be a spectacle to watch as the game showcases the power of its state of the art physics-based simulation where soldiers clash in the most insane of ways, and you get to see it all from all kinds of angles. Recreate some of the most epic battles that occurred in human history and then laugh at how silly it all looks. That is the very point of Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, to show that huge battles don't have to be bloody and brutal in order to be incredibly entertaining.

The game's campaign has evolved greatly since the betas, and there are many levels available to the players that show many skirmishes which you have to overcome. Three difficulty settings let you customize how challenging the battles are going to be so that some can focus on fun and others on the tactics and things like that. Many different maps are present, some even have buildings in them, so players get to formulate different kinds of strategies depending on which map they get.

If you're looking for a game that shows ludicrous and insane battles which are a joy to watch, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is the game you need to get.

One Off The List is our weekly list feature. Is there something you think doesn t deserve to be on this list? Comment with your reasons why, and next week it may be struck off. An obscenely rich teenager throws his VR controller across the room in a fit of blind panic while playing Half-Life: Alyx. It leaves the window of his bedroom at 5m/s. It falls 10m vertically and hits his neighbour s greenhouse, smashing the glass. How many metres did the controller travel horizontally before coming to ...

Hello Everyone! Here’s a little update from us developers. We’re currently all working from home as the COVID-19 pandemic is hitting Sweden and Germany harder than expected. Currently, most of the team are healthy but some of us are sick. We’re doing our best to not let it affect our update schedule - that said we cannot say if it will cause some delays further down the road. If so, we’ll keep you posted. The next update will most likely be in April, we have some very exciting stuff that we can’...

We're getting a lot of questions about Win Conditions and the Hero Unit, here's a post explaining them a bit more. Win conditions: Adds the option to add/remove rules for how a team wins the fight. Currently, in the game, the default is that both teams have the win condition: "Kill all enemy units". The first team to do this wins. By editing the win conditions you could make it so that the blue team loses if their king dies, or that they win if the battle takes more than 30 seconds The two teams...

It's a cool game, very meticulous in it's details. I like the simplistic stylized graphic style. It's fun to observe and manipulate the playback speed of a battle to different degrees of slow-motion and have a blast watching every detail during the battle. It's like an eye candy comedy battle. So, it runs well, looks good but it desperately needs a single player story mode.
