Visual Novels don't get a lot of respect in the video game world, but they are in fact one of the video game genres that explore the story of a title to its fullest. And for the team behind Fall of Gyes, they have done exactly that. This was a Visual Novel funded on Kickstarter, and now, you can experience the game in full.

So, what is the game about?

Well, it all started with the Reset, a great apocalypse that nearly obliterated all the world. Nuclear holocaust on a grand scale, destroying everything and everyone in its path in seconds. Without mercy or remorse. But, not everyone died. In fact, those who had the wealth and influence found themselves in special bunkers that would allow themselves to survive the burning and destruction of the surface world. In the underground towns and tunnels, the world lived. Partially anyway.

That's where you come in, for you play as a young soldier who finds themselves in a great position. Life is going well for you. You have a good job, the girlfriend, a place of prominence in the "new world" and more. But something is about to throw everything out of wack. For people on the surface are coming for the town. There are people alive up there.

With their arrival comes the true Fall of Gyes, everything starts to fall apart, and only the strong will survive what's coming. Will you be one of them?
