History is home to some of the greatest battles in the history of the world, and with each battle comes an inspiration for what could be a great video game. And such is the case with the Tower Defense title known as Defense of Roman Britain. For in this game, you place yourself as a commander of a Roman legion, and you must fight off a rebellion to try and kick Rome off of Britannia. But it won't be easy, not by a long shot.

You see, it's been 10 years since the first Roman legions landed in Britannia, and while the native Celts and Brits tried to resist the armies and legions of Rome, they failed. Due to this, much of the land has been seized. Yet, the rebellions still continue. Which is where you come in. You will take a part in a whirlwind of battles and situations with the simple goal of taking you and Rome down. You must stop this at all cost.

But how will you win? Simple, you'll build powerful weapons and plan strategies that ensure that the rebellion is quashed in the most efficient manner. Or, by fighting to the last man to ensure victory, whichever works for you. With each level comes new challenges, and you'll have to adapt your tower defenses to do what needs to be done.

There are numerous types of weapons in Defense of Roman Britain. And you'll need to utilize them all as you face the great number of levels the game has.
