Dark and Light is a huge sandbox survival roleplaying game set in a fantasy world filled with stunning magic, mythical beasts, devastating elemental forces, and mesmerizing landscapes. The game is being developed and it was published by Snail Games USA on July 20th, 2017.

The mother planet Gaia floats in space, and the satellite planet Archos can be seen broken in the sky. Many dark forces are running rampant throughout the world. You assume the role of a lone explorer. Wilderness surrounds you, so learn the terrain that you walk on, find out what natural resources you can use, and discover how to tame the creatures found in these wild lands. Players can create entire homes for themselves, or even large castles if they want to.

Magical energy is yours to control. All aspects of Dark and Light have been redone and upgraded in contrast from the original 2004 game. Powerful elemental forces like wind, earth, fire, water, light, and darkness are the things controlling Gaia. All kinds of biomes can also be found in this sandbox RPG, like gigantic volcanoes, tall and frozen mountains, or luscious green forests.

All kinds of magic can be learned in this title. Magical skills that are related to the attack, defense, exploration, transformation, control, and so on can all be acquired by the players. Control the weather itself, create a network of magical portals that can be used to travel all over the continent, and tame elemental powers which can be used to build houses. Dark and Light also has many weapons in-game, over 14 different ranged and melee ones (swords, magic staffs, daggers), and you also have the option of creating your very own fabulous equipment with magic.
