You are Sarah Kerrigan, known by many as the "Queen of the Blades". At one time, you were the most feared being out there in the stars. However, now you are in a cell in the depths of a research laboratory. What's worse, the Terrans are coming for you. Knowing that the time to escape is now, you must get out and make your way back to your empire so you can reclaim your power!
Heart of the Swarm is the next step of the story that Wings of Liberty began. But here, the focus is on Kerrigan and her journey to reunite the Swarm and get revenge on Arcturus Mengsk. You will guide her across 20 missions that will show a new side of her and the Zerg she controls. Plus, you'll get to make her stronger in the ways that you want, giving you special customization the other games didn't have. Her power is frightening to behold, but at least you are the ones controlling it.
Plus, there are Special Evolution missions allow you to evolve your brood for even more power. You have the power to alter the Zerg so that they fit your image of how they should be.
Plus, Heart of the Swarm has improved many aspects of the game from what Wings of Liberty did. The user interface has been enhanced, there's a new physics system, the battles are gorgeous to look at, and that's only the beginning.
