To access your digital art book and soundtrack please install the game, navigate to the game folder and open up a folder titled ‘Special Edition’.

The sequel to the popular castle sim is here after 12 years, and the deserts of the Middle East circa 1189 are waiting for you, now rendered in a new 3D engine and featuring new realistic castle destruction that is possible thanks to Havok Physics. Stronghold Crusaders 2 manages to give you the same gripping and hectic gameplay and complex castle simulation that the first game introduced. Once again, the elements of RTS and city builder combine into one engaging title in which you play as either a Crusader Knight or an Arabic freedom fighter. All kinds of units are at your disposal, as well as devastating siege equipment that you need when taking down an enemy ruler.

Stronghold Crusader 2 offers you the choice of playing as Richard the Lionheart or as Sultan of Syria in two historical and intense single-player campaigns that features all kinds of dynamic events that keep things interesting (locust swarms, tornadoes). The game features over 25 unique unit types that you must micromanage and use to their utmost potential if you wish to crush your enemy. The Sergeant at Arms can raise the morale of your troops, the Archers can launch an arrow volley, Assassins can scale castle walls, and so on. Once you hone your skills test them in skirmishes against the AI or against human players with up to eight human players!
