The obscure Lord Mortimer invited everyone to this place, but there's something wrong with this place as your own mother disappeared right here. Use the unique Social Influence system in order to extract as much information as possible when talking with these interesting characters. Use knowledge of a character's psychological vulnerabilities and immunities in order to achieve your goals. Even if you aren't prepared to engage in a conversation with a character, it doesn't mean the end of the world, just a persistent physical disfigurement or mental trait that will make your future adventures harder.
