Does all of this seem like a joke to you? Maybe, but the trailer did give off an incredibly polished look at the game, so could we be getting Borderlands 3 on October 1st, 2019 as the title looks almost finished? Possible, quite possible, and anything that gives us a chance to look at the spectacular show of insanity and explosions that is the Borderlands 3 Official Reveal Trailer once more is alright in our book. After all, the Borderlands fans haven’t gotten anything new to play in quite a while now, so everyone wants to believe that the looter shooter that defined the entire genre is getting the new king sooner rather than later.

While we’re on this topic, are there any of you that believe that develoeprs still drop hints about their games in trailers and those sort of things? Clues, breadcrumbs, little codes that we, the fans, have to decipher. Do they still do that? Most don’t, but maybe Gearbox is different, and maybe u/Zottelpanda really found out when the game is coming out.

Borderlands 3

Who knows at this point, even though the entire thread is mostly wishful thinking, let us all believe that Borderlands 3 is coming out on October 1st, 2019. After all, the reveal trailer didn’t show signs of any MAJOR leaps when it comes to the graphics or the gameplay, so this is more of the same. Which is completely fine, Borderlands 2 is probably the best looter shooter out there, so the sequel just needs to expand on everything that made that game great. On the other hand, we do hope that the third game does introduce some new things. No one wants the same old formula for the third main game in the series, give us something fresh.
