It’s kind of sad when investors turn against the people they’ve invested in. It’s a sick joke, especially if you consider the investors are the ones that pressed CDPR to release Cyberpunk 2077 before it was ready. But, that’s the harsh reality of the situation the Cyberpunk devs are currently in. Will they be able to defend themselves against four different lawsuits?

There were the first and the second ones that we know of. However, this post says there are actually four lawsuits targeting CDPR. From what you can take from that post, it seems all four are of a similar nature. The investors feel like CDPR mislead them to support a broken and unfinished product. Since Cyberpunk did get pulled from Sony’s store and all that.

Yet, Cyberpunk is still one, if not the biggest, launches in history. It sold like crazy, and the devs are working on ironing out all bugs and glitches and whatnot. But it makes no difference to the investors, that want all their money. Immediately.

What do you think, will CDPR be able to defend itself in court? Let me know what you think in the comment section down below!

I mean, that’s what happens when you mislead investors. And customers.

But what about the part that the investors were pressuring them to release the game early, which would carry a big risk of having bugs and unfinished product, can’t have it both ways.

That’s the problem, I don’t blame CDPR, their investors forced them to release it early because they wanted their money N O W.
But, CDPR could have told them that there’s no release date until the game is at least in a semi playable state.
Giving an exact release date puts too much pressure on everyone, and we see how that turned out in the end..
