It appears that someone has leaked some images that may or may not be Bethesda’s upcoming sci-fi RPG, Starfield.
The mystery sci-fi RPG
What do we know about Starfield? For starters, it’s their first original RPG in 25 years. Absolutely insane, I know, no need to tell me about it. Bethesda has been talking about this title for over 10 years now. Development plans went from word to paper about 6 years ago. Its active development started once Fallout 4 work was done.
No one knows anything. For some reason, they’be been really quiet with this title of theirs. Strange, considering that it’s the first fresh idea they’ve had in a long, long time. However, considering how many mistakes the company made in the past several years (read Fallout 76), maybe they’re anxious. So, are these really Starfield’s leaked images, or something else entirely?
Shady leaks
Since no one has any information on what Starfield looks like, these leaked images could be real. But, since Bethesda is keen on keeping their lips sealed, leaks like this shouldn’t happen. Unfortunately, they don’t show anything. A man in a spacesuit, a spaceship with an insanely industrial vibe which looks like something from an Alien movie, and a UI element that displays oxygen and CO2 meters, a gravity meter, and some kind of day or night cycle indicator?
It’s even stranger that these leaks appeared shortly after Microsoft bought a ton of studios, Bethesda included. All of it seems a bit shady. Yet, you never know, these could be the real deal.
