Assassin’s Creed Infinity isn’t coming out anytime soon it seems, since multiple AC titles got their time to shine during Ubisoft Forward but Infinity didn’t.
Infinity will connect Codename Red and Codename Hexe
Infinity isn’t a game, but a service that lets players experience multiple historical settings. Animus, the device that AC games use to let the players explore the memories of their ancestors is quite similar to Infinity. While this service aims to be the single entry point for all future Assassin’s Creed players, it’s still very much shrouded by shadows. There’s a trailer that shows Infinity linking Codename Red and Codename Hexe.
Mirage, Codename Red and Codename Hexe are all AC games coming out in the near future. Infinity, on the other hand, probably won’t arrive until 2024 or 2025. Marc-Alexis Côté said this about Assassin’s Creed Infinity:
“Infinity is going to be a hub that will unite all our different experiences, and our players, together in meaningful ways”
Assassin’s Creed multiplayer will return
Ubisoft’s also exploring ways to bring back standalone multiplayer to the AC universe. That’s also going to be connected to the Infinity hub. We first heard about Infinity in 2021, and a year later didn’t bring much news.
Ubisoft aims to deliver something major with Assassin’s Creed Infinity. That’s exactly why they’re being so stingy with any new info on this service. But, we have a ton more AC news to enjoy. We’re getting an AC game set in Japan. AC Mirage’s announcement was outstanding and there’s Codename Hexe. Plenty of exciting things are coming for Assassin’s Creed fans.
The next couple of years will be exhilarating for Assassin’s Creed fans. But, what do you think, when will Assassin’s Creed Infinity come out? Do share your thoughts with us in the comments section down below!
