The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla trailer is here and it shows us absolutely nothing of in terms of actual gameplay.
Maybe I fell asleep and woke up in an alternate reality. One where a “gameplay trailer” means “a bunch of cutscenes stitched together” or something like that. I mean, what the hell is Ubisoft doing at this point. They know fans are already on the edge because of the wild new direction of the direction. So, what will they do to reassure the fans the best they can? Drop a cool gameplay trailer. That can’t be too hard, right? WELL I GUESS UBISOFT REALLY KNOWS HOW TO SURPRISE US, BUT NOT IN A GOOD WAY.
Yes, instead of showing us how exactly assassins and Vikings mix together, we got a bunch of short clips that show random things. Some pagan statues, a dude with some tattoos, some Viking raids, a dude getting hit in the face with a knee. Nothing actually substantial in any way. No actual signs of actual gameplay.
