Being A Good Guy Doesn’t Always Pay Off In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will have many choices for us to make. You can be a good guy, but that doesn’t mean that it will always pay off.

In an interview that mmorpg.com did with Scott Philips, the Game director, we found out that you don’t have to be the good guy all the time. What does that mean? Well, if you do good don’t expect good in return, as the world of this game doesn’t work like that. You see, one of the examples in this interview was related to a certain attack by some thugs. They came at you right outside your house. Now, what do you do? Do you kill them, or do you let them live? If you kill them, it ends there. They are dead. But, if you let them live, they will come back later with their friends and attack you again.

Being good doesn’t mean you get rewarded for it. Being bad doesn’t mean you get punished for it. We like how this sounds, as it’s a much more realistic take on the world, which isn’t fair most of the time.

Another thing that intrigued us is the fact that you can persuade many warriors to join you. But, first you have to knock them out and ask them to join you after that. Seems like a pretty fun system, which we are very excited to try out.

Lastly, we got information on pets. What’s an assassin without a pet? If you ask us, nothing. You can’t go around murdering people if you don’t have a dog by your side. Or even a lynx, which resembles a bobcat, only it’s bigger and angrier. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey lets you choose between many animals to tame like bears and wolves. The best feature in the game allows you to pet your animal. This definitely makes this game the best Assassin’s Creed title we’ve ever seen.
