Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta Got An Update

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout beta is well underway for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 players that have early access. An update arrived to the PS4 version that increased the player count from 80 to 88 in matches.

Blackout

Surprisingly, a lot of people are enjoying Blackout. Since it is a rather standout mode, especially by Call of Duty standards, everyone wants to try it out. It has vehicles, zombies, and grappling hooks. What more can you ask for in a Call of Duty game? No one actually expected Black Ops 4 to be anything special, but the Blackout mode could make it all worthwhile. Are you playing the beta right now? As if you aren’t, you should be.

Blackout

As we found out thanks to MP1ST, the update that increased the number of players on the PS4 didn’t arrive for the PC and Xbox One. We aren’t sure why, and it seems kind of odd that they would increase the player limit for only one platform. Naturally, you can expect to get some backlash from fans when you do this kind of thing. How will you explain to them why you increased the players per match from 80 to 88, but only on the PlayStation 4?

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think the developers are just experimenting with the Blackout beta or are they showing favoritism?
