CDPR Apologizes For The Horrible Cyberpunk 2077 Launch Again

CDPR apologizes for the horrendous launch of Cyberpunk 2077 once again and they delay the release of free DLC.

CDPR apologizes for blatantly lying to their customers once again

One guy in the comments perfectly sums this video up: “This sounds like me talking to my parents about my university performance”. You know, you make it sound like you gave it your all. You did your best, and you’re proud of your achievements. Granted, Cyberpunk 2077 is an incredibly ambitious game. It tries to blend many different genres and mechanics together. But, it needed a lot more time in the oven. This is another in a series of apologies that basically say: “Sorry we lied to you, please give us your money in the future”.

Then they lie again

The most idiotic part about this apology is when Marcin, the co-founder of CD Projekt says his Q&A team didn’t run into the big part of the issues. What? That is a straight out lie and I bet their Q&A team can confirm that. The magnitude and severity of the problems were reported. However, the management team decided to ignore them and go on with the release. You can’t keep the stakeholders waiting while you constantly delay the game. No no no, their pockets need to be filled quickly, as do yours.

Gamers defending these people is sad

It’s very sad that people are defending them still. And I don’t mean the devs. The higherups are the ones that sealed the fate of this game, and maybe the fate of this company. While Cyberpunk 2077 did rock the video game industry, it did so for all the wrong reasons. CDPR apologizes constantly, but I hope they learned from this so it doesn’t happen again. They’ve delayed the free DLCs until they fix the game. An excellent alternative to crunching if anything.
