Clone Wars DLC and Customization Options Confirmed for Star Wars Battlefront II

DICE developer Dennis Brannvall is becoming rather well known at this point, as the design director continues to update fans on what’s happening with Star Wars Battlefront II. A recent forum post from the director confirmed that Clone Wars content and customization options are on the way to the game, whilst there is still a chance there a Conquest mode is being considered.

In the post, Branvall stated: “We’re obviously hearing the requests about a more open, free-flowing large mode like Conquest. Not sure if porting a mode over is the right way to go, but we’re definitely working on satisfying that request.”

Branvall expanded on this: “We’re obviously hearing the request for a more free-flowing, open-sandbox large game mode and we’re prototyping something of that nature for a future release (hopefully). I’m not sure if porting over a ruleset completely is the way to go yet (there were reasons why we decided not to do that previously) but as soon as I know for sure, I’ll let you know.”
As far as the Clone Wars content and customization goes, Branvall simply replied “Yes” to both features.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Well… when I see (Padawan) Ahsoka Tano as a playable character in Battlefront II… I’ll buy the game. Until then, EA will just have to make due… without my money.
