Ok, this is not something that we expected to hear. When we first heard about the upcoming cyberpunk RPG from CD Projekt Red we thought it would be like Witcher, a third-person game. It seems that we were wrong, as in a closed-door presentation IGN learned a whole lot about the game and what it will be like, and the most interesting thing is that it will be an FPS RPG, which is an interesting combination.
Did you expect a first-person shooter from the people that made The Witcher 3? No? Well, neither did we, but it is actually quite refreshing to see a first-person RPG, especially since it is being made by such capable people who already proved themselves as competent developers. Cyberpunk 2077 will also have no classes in a traditional sense, as you will be able to evolve your character any way you see fit as you progress through the game. It also seems like there will be multiple ways of getting around certain obstacles in the world, which is something that we also saw in the Deus Ex games. The expectations for this title are going through the roof as we find out more about it, and we can’t wait to see some Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay with our own eyes.
