DICE Details Next Battlefield 1 DLC: Apocalypse

Battlefield 1 has had a pretty solid string post-launch content. EA and DICE have brought new maps, weapons, vehicles, story battles, and much more to the game, and they’re not looking to stop anytime soon. For DICE has revealed that the next DLC for the game will be called Apocalypse, and on their website, they detailed what the content would bring, including what the maps will be, the new weapons that you’ll get to wield, and even a new game mode.

Apocalypse has a lot to bring to the table, and its tagline is pretty dark:

“With no end in sight, enter a living Hell and participate in the most brutal battles of the cataclysmic Great War.”

First up, there are going to be given new maps for players to play on. Three will be on land, and two will be in the air. What makes these battles interesting is that they’re showing off some of the most brutal fights in WWI, including taking you to the Battle of the Somme. And for the air battles, you’ll get to fight off Germans in two locations, including over the very skies of London.

If you’re looking for new weaponry, Apocalypse has your back. For it’s not only bringing in some new melee weapons, including a meat cleaver and a prybar, but there will also be some new guns to use as well like the RSC SMG. Among five others that is. There will also be new gadgets for your planes and two new planes to wield as well!

The big addition though is the new Air Assault mode. This mode takes dogfighting to a whole new level, as dogfighting will be met with collisions and airships, and only the best will make it out alive.

Battlefield 1’s Apocalypse DLC will arrive in February first for Premium Pass members, and will arrive for regular users two weeks after.
