Seems like Doom Eternal profited off its immense hype as the game already passed 100 000 concurrent users.

Insanely fast-paced. Extremely violent and bloody. As fun as you can imagine, maybe even more. That’s all Doom Eternal and much, much more. After the success that Doom 2016 had, it’s understandable that many people got extremely hyped when a sequel was announced. However, can the sequel stand up to the hype and be an even more metal experience? Turns out it can, and a lot of people are digging it. Now you may ask, how the hell do I know that? Well, I personally can’t say that for certain, but SteamDB can prove it. 104,891 is the all-time peak that occurred 3 days ago. At the time of me writing this, the number is half but still, a lot of people bought and played this title as soon as it launched. I mean, did any of us expect Doom Eternal to surpass 100 000 concurrent users in only the first week of its launch?

This just shows that id Software are the kind of developers that know what their fans want. And they know how to meet the expectations of their loyal fans. I hope at least this game has some sort of DLC or expansion down the line. It’s a title that we’re all going to play at least three times, but an expansion would be nice as well.

I hope you’ve played Doom 2016, if not, go get it on HRK Game, it’s dirt cheap. After you beat that, you come and pick up Doom Eternal.
