Dragon Ball FighterZ already has a large roster, one that spans both Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. Yet, like any good fighting game in the modern era, there’s always going to be more fighters coming via DLC. Arc Systems revealed that two more Saiyans would join in the fight in the forms of Broly and Bardock. However, we didn’t know when exactly they would arrive. Well, via a brand new trailer, we do know. They’ll arrive on March 28th, so you’ll be fighting with new characters, before the month ends!
Now, as for that new trailer, it’s one that shows off the Saiyan warrior Bardock, who is the father of Goku. In the series, and its films, he’s shown to be a pure warrior, much like his son, but he’s also no-nonsense, and he was one of Saiyans who died first when Frieza blew up planet Vegeta.
So…naturally, they have the trailer showing Bardock get his revenge. And it’s very satisfying.
Now, they do take a few liberties here, such as the fact that Bardock is not a Super Saiyan in the series. But hey, when every other Saiyan on the roster can go to the next level (including Broly), why not have a little fun? Besides, this isn’t canon.
With Bardock and Broly coming soon, the questions now immediate race to “who’s next?” The two are coming about two months after Dragon Ball FighterZ was released, could two more characters follow two months from then? Which would put it around late May? It’s very possible.
And then, it’s the matter of who gets the spot. There’s been a lot of rumors on who else will join the fray, including some Dragon Ball mainstays like Master Roshi. But we won’t know for sure until it’s announced. Once it is though, we’ll let you know!
