Dragon Ball FighterZ Gets New Trailers For Goku and Vegeta

Dragon Ball FighterZ has been doing very well since its launch in January, and the team at Arc Systems has been making sure that the game gets a lot of updates, balances, and most importantly of all, new characters. There have been four new characters added so far, including some fan-favorite characters like Braddock and Broly. But soon, a few classic characters will be arriving in the game, specifically, classic versions of classic characters. The base forms of Goku and Vegeta.

Bandai Namco made some tweets confirming these two were confirming next month, but more than that, they also released the trailers for the two. Here’s the one for Goku, and what they had to say about him:

“Here comes the first gameplay of base Goku, who joins the roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ in early August! Watch him unleash the formidable power of the Kaioken and the iconic Super Spirit Bomb! And… is that Kinto’un???

Here’s Vegeta’s, no tweet was made about him, but there’s plenty to note and infer. For example, his body type is much different given that this is him from the Saiyan Saga, as such, he has his tail still, and it’s wrapped around him. He also has his classic cocky demeanor with him as he lays the beating on his foes.

There are still some who think that these two have been represented enough in Dragon Ball FighterZ, so it’s going to be interesting to see just how much these two are bought. But, given that they are well and truly new characters in terms of movesets, that might be enough.

On a side not, EVO 2018 released their results for what game is the most popular going into the event, and FighterZ actually beat out all comers, including reigning champion Street Fighter V. Not bad for a new game.
