Fable IV – Time to say goodbye to the misty Albion?
It is becoming more and more certain that this year’s Microsoft E3 conference will introduce the latest work of Playground Games, who is responsible for the Forza Horizon series, the next Fable game, Fable IV.
Fable’s fourth part has been rumored for years, and it seems that this year’s E3 will finally allow the general public to get acquainted with the project outsourced to Playground Games. The latest rumors have been revealed by a Reddit user. This information should be treated with great care.
Albion and Aurora are gone. “Lands reduced to fables.” The Spire was rebuilt and used by a mad king to wish that an asteroid would strike the planet. He also wished it would happen again in the far future. Eons later and everything is new (medieval themed, new continents) and you have to stop the destruction of the planet again. Theresa and a Heroes Guild are preserved on another planet via a demon door. Time Travel heavily involved in play. Jack of Blades returns.
The leaked information has received plenty of positive feedback on Reddit, and we are really excited about this rumored sequel. Until the E3 announcements, we are most likely left with wild guesses, but hopefully we will find out more fairly soon.
