Fall Guys Switching To Free-To-Play In June
Fall Guys is switching to a free-to-play model in June and the game is also coming to the Epic Games Store as well as many console platforms.

Fall Guys switching to a free-to-play model isn’t all that strange. The game is one of those one-hit wonders that dominate the charts for a certain time. After a while though, they quickly become forgotten. But switching to a free-to-play model helps the game remain alive.
Fall Guys is also switching from Steam to the Epic Games Store and launching on multiple platforms with cross-play and cross-progression. Everything the game needs to see a revitalization of its player base. The strange thing is, Fall Guys can’t be accessed by new players via Steam. However, everyone who owns a copy on Steam will get all the game’s updates.
Fall Guys isn’t just switching to a F2P model, it’s also:
- Introducing a new in-game currency (The Show-Bucks)
- Getting a fresh start for the existing seasons
- Revamping of the progression system
- Introducing a new Season 1 (Free For All) that features a huge arena filled with locations and events
