Far Cry 6 reveals some gameplay and its release date in a trailer full of action, crazy guns, and a really adorable puppy.
Why was Far Cry 3 the most popular Far Cry title? Well, depends on who you ask. Some love it for its insane antagonist. Others liked the main character and his eventual descent into a life of ruthlessness and violence due to his circumstances. The gunplay was also quite good.
What I’m trying to say is that Far Cry 3 had a lot of personality. After watching the Far Cry 6 gameplay trailer, I am most definitely getting Far Cry 3 vibes. Check out the gameplay down below to see everything in action for yourself:
A voiced protagonist with her/his own personality and beliefs. One that isn’t afraid to get down and dirty to ruthlessly eliminate the opposition. We also have the brutal healing animations back. A lot of Far Cry players already love that addition.
But, this is a Far Cry game. We want guns, carnage, and destruction. Thankfully, it seems Far Cry 6 has that in spades. The most surprising addition are the makeshift weapons. You can kill a guy with a gun that shoots CDs while playing the Macarena song. It definitely has some Fallout or Metro vibes when it comes to those weapons.
