One of the things that makes Fortnite special in the eyes of its players is that it features many weapons that can grant you many abilities. One of which is being able to ride a rocket to get across parts of the map quickly. In the past, players have used these rockets to help sneak up on players, to snipe them while in the sky, and many other creative things. But now, one player has taken it to the next level. For now, they have used it to create a world record.
How? Well, while not an “official” record technically, as far as video-proofed accomplishments go, this is a first. For one Fornite player used rockets to cross the ENTIRE map in the game. This is impressive for multiple reasons. One, rockets have a short life, and thus the player had to fire rockets mid-air and jump from one to another in order to keep the ride going. And two, the map is not small, so this required timing, precision, and knowing when to do the next firing and jumping. You can watch the entire feat here.
It’s hard not to get as excited as the player when he accomplished the feat, as it truly is praise worthy. And as the video spreads around, you can bet that other players are going to try and top his feat. We’ll have to see though how successful they are.
Fortnite has been going through a lot of cool changes recently, new modes are coming, new weapons are always being put in, and more and more players seem to want to try the game out to see whether the hype is all real. Well, this video proves that it’s real, and that there are other potential grand feats just waiting to be accomplished.
