If you’re not familiar with the new Shadow Warrior games, get on that. The latest game in the series, Shadow Warrior 2, is free for grabs right now.
Please tell me you played the first game or at least heard about it. Shadow Warrior was a gem, because it made cliche comedy funny. It was like a guilty pleasure that you indulged in from time to time. Great combat, hilarious main character, and a pretty great adventure that involves chopping and shooting up demons. Just go and play the game if you haven’t, trust us, you won’t regret it if you’re a fan of shooters with solid comedy.
Now, Shadow Warrior 2 is the sequel. And you can grab it for free right now. You keep the game forever, so this is a pretty awesome deal if you ask us. Anyhow, the sequel is a co-op shooter, with everything good about the first game now done even better. The combat is amazing and gives you all kinds of options when it comes to tearing evil baddies apart. But, Shadow Warrior 2 can get repetitive sometimes. That doesn’t though, as this isn’t a game that you’re going to play through in a day. Take it slow and make it one week. That’s how you don’t get burnt out by bland environments that the title, unfortunately, has in large quantities.
Despite these tiny flaws, the game is great. Especially if you can play it with a couple of friends. The co-op gameplay is hilarious, so definitely give it a try if you’re able to.
