Publisher 505 Games officially announce the development of another dystopian sci-fi parkour running game, Ghostrunner 2.
Ghostrunner is a simple game. It has an ok story, flashy gameplay, and a rather attractive cyberpunk setting and visuals. Nothing too crazy, yet it’s incredibly popular among the gaming community. With a “Very Positive” User Review score on Steam and over 600k copies sold since its launch, the game’s a huge success.
Maybe its simple yet effective gameplay formula is what works for so many people. You get hit once and you die. But there’s a ton of ways players can avoid death while sprinting on walls and slicing their enemies into bits. A brutal game with style, but where can it go from here?
That’s what we all want to know. Yet, that information won’t see the light of day soon. However, we know that more is coming. The publisher of the title, 505 Games, confirmed the development of Ghostrunner 2. Naturally, the devs shared this exciting news on Twitter and were met with a lot of excitement and hype.
