Halo: The Master Chief Collection may get microtransactions as 343 Industries are toying around with the idea as of late.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection might get microtransactions in the future, which is a worrying thing but 343 Industries say they’re currently just considering the idea. Right now, the dev team is happy with the game’s current system. However, they also want players to get the option of skipping the grind. For those that have the money, but don’t have the time that’s needed to acquire certain items.

Microtransactions might not replace the current system, but might be an alternative suited for a certain type of people. However, Halo fans were certainly not a fan of these changes. A ton of players offered a ton of solutions that wouldn’t require real-life money. The fanbase is against such a system, and now we wait and see how 343 Industries reacts to their opinion.

Will they rethink their approach? Or will they become another developer overtaken by greed? Things are not set in stone, so for now, all we can do is wait. 343 Industries don’t seem like the type of people to give in to greed, but hey, we’ve been wrong about that before.
