If you’re lucky up to get accepted into the Halo Insider Program you might get early access to in-development Halo titles.
What does this mean? Well, at the moment, everyone that’s using a PC is exilirated because we’re finally getting the Master Chief Collection. From what we understand, those of us that apply for this program and get accepted into it get to play in-development titles early. It’s free, so why wouldn’t you sign up for a chance to test some things before anyone else does? You’ll also have to give constructive feedback and that sort of thing, as this isn’t just early access to games.
On their official website they described it like this:
The Halo Insider Program is the new way Halo fans and community members can partner with 343 Industries to improve our games, products, and services. As a Halo Insider, you’ll have the opportunity to regularly provide feedback and insights that help shape and inform current franchise initiatives and the future of Halo. You will also be given exclusive opportunities to participate in public flights of in-progress Halo game releases and provide feedback to the development teams.
At lest right now, everyone that wants to play the Halo: Master Chief Collection as soon as possible can do that through this program. Also it’s nice of the decs to provide a way for the community to talk to them and give them feedback regarding their upcoming titles.
