Kingdom Come: Deliverance Dev Releases Massive New Patch

Kingdom Come: Deliverance released to quite a bit of fanfare, as it was praised for its unique story, characters, and its absolutely brutal gameplay. However, just because it’s praised doesn’t mean it’s perfect. In fact, between the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions, there were a lot of bugs and curious omissions that had players asking for fixes. The team at Warhorse Studios has been working on patches to help fix the game, but now, with Patch 1.3, which is now out on all systems, they may have outdone themselves.

How so? Well, besides fixing problems that players had been requesting, they apparently fixed over 300 bugs. What’s more, they’re already working on Patch 1.4. So yeah, they’ve been busy, and players hopefully will be grateful to them for that.

The biggest new addition is the “Save And Exit” feature. What’s more, the team noted that game saves won’t get corrupted anymore, even if the game crashes while a save is underway.

The team also did some massive improvement in the flow of the graphics. They did more streaming textures, adjusted LOD, and made sure that Vsync 30 got a more stable framerate.

Gameplay has also gotten some adjustments. For example, both Lockpicking and Pickpocketing have gotten some adjustments. You’ll also not be shot into the air if you use the Alchemy bench.

Other things you’ll notice is that the guards in the game won’t frisk you as much, your horse won’t get stuck in fences (hopefully) anymore, it’ll be easier to sneak past sleeping NPCs, combat perks have been tweaked, and much more. Be sure to check out the full Patch Notes to get the full breakdown.

As you can see, Warhorse Studios is taking this very seriously, and wants players to enjoy all aspects of the game. Let us know what you think of the adjustments when you play Kingdom Come: Deliverance next.
