Lost Ark, one of the most anticipated ARPGs that’s been in development for seven years, enters open beta in South Korea.
There aren’t many exceptional ARPGs on the market today. Sure, you have things like Diablo III, Path of Exile, Grim Dawn, and so on. But, even though these games are quite good, they have been out for quite a while now. Why haven’t we gotten any new Diablo II clones that bring something new to the table? There is one game. One astounding title called Lost Ark, which has been making some waves these last few years.
This is a game that looks like it has combined Black Desert Online, World of Warcraft, TERA, and Diablo III all into one gorgeous title. Tons of content, absolutely astonishing combat, superb graphics, and more. Lost Ark looks like it could be the savior of ARPGs. But, looks can be deceiving, as there is talk of the game being slightly pay2win, and that it isn’t as thrilling as it looks in the trailers.
From what we saw, we are in love with it. Especially the combat. Fighting in this game looks and sounds so incredibly powerful and satisfying. There is no ARPG out there that has combat that looks so flashy, impactful, and most importantly, fun. In this MMORPG.com article, we found out that Lost Ark just went into open beta in South Korea.
There is no talk about a western release date yet, but we choose to have faith. Have faith that one day a game as awesome as this arrives on our screens as well. Until then we’re just going to jealously watch Korean players play the game.
