Marvel Heroes Omega Releasing June 30th

Marvel and Gazillion are very proud to announce that Marvel Heroes Omega, the MMORPG of the Marvel universe, is coming out on June 30th for both Xbox One, and PS4. This is significant because it seemed for a time that the game would release on PS4 first, then transition over to Xbox One later. But, with this change comes a simultaneous launch, and the possibility for more players to get in on the epic Marvel action.

What also makes the team behind the game happy was that this was only possible because of players, as they helped immensely during the beta for the game. They noted numerous fixes that needed to happen in order to make Marvel Heroes Omega a much better title. They fixed things such as “gameplay, ease-of-use, hero balances, bug fixes” and apparently many other things.

As for what Marvel Heroes Omega is, it’s quite simply a MMORPG set in the Marvel Universe, and one that lets you play as one of several legendary Marvel heroes and characters. From Captain America, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, the X-Men, some of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and more. As time goes on, more and more characters will be available for you to play.

Adding to the scope of the game, Marvel Heroes Omega will let you venture into legendary locations within the Marvel Universe. From Avengers Tower, to the X-Mansion and other places you wish you could really go to.

Naturally, there is a plot and mission in this title. Doctor Doom has gotten his hands on a Cosmic Cube, which can help him make the world in his twisted image. He knows he won’t go unopposed though, so he has brought other villains from the Marvel universe to aid him. You have to stop him, and will team up with other Marvel heroes to do so.

This, of course, is just the tip of the iceberg for the game, there are missions, challenges, and loads more things to do in Marvel Heroes Omega, and you’ll see all of them once the game launches on June 30th for consoles.
