The latest Cyberpunk 2077 trailer gives us a vibe that the game won’t be coming out anytime soon as some expect it to.
We were quite eager when we first started watching this new video for Cyberpunk 2077, as we were hoping it would have some new gameplay or information about this spectacularly hyped title. Unfortunately, the footage is from the gameplay demo that impressed the entire gaming industry, but some information was given about this game.
For example, Cyberpunk 2077 is set in a parallel reality in contrast to the source material that inspired it. This was done mostly to give the dev team the freedom they needed in order to craft the experience that they envisioned without any obstacles.
CD Projekt Red also used the first-person perspective and gave the players the option to customize their avatar so that everyone can immerse themselves in the game much more easily. This was a shock to everyone because the Witcher games have a very distinct and popular character, Geralt.
But, in this game, the whole point is to create your character and enter the world and affect it in any way you wish to. So, after all that is said and done, why do we think that this title isn’t coming as soon as some people think? That’s because at the end of the video the narrator said: “Cyberpunk 2077 may no longer be the mystery it once was, but work on it is far from over”, which gives us a hint that we’re going to wait a bit more before we get to play this sci-fi RPG, as it’s coming when it’s ready.
What do you think, when will we be getting Cyberpunk 2077? One year from now, two years from now? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
