Metal Gear Survive Forbids Players From Engaging in Online Relationships

Love blossoming isn’t something new when it comes to online gaming. There are plenty of fairytale stories of players finding love playing their favorite games, though this is something that Konami are looking to avoid with Metal Gear Survive.

According to the end-user license agreement, players are having to agree that it is strictly forbidden, stating that players can’t “seek a relationship with another person or [do] an act that Konami determines is made for the main purpose of causing a relationship.” Players are also forbidden from doing any pre-election campaigning in-game, so if you’re planning on using Survive as a dating service or as a platform to become president, then you’re pretty much out of luck.

It will be interesting to see how Metal Gear Survive is received by fans, which offers both single and multiplayer aspects. Of course, it is a spin-off of sorts, and isn’t by any means going to be considered as an entry in the mainline series, but it still offers something a bit different, combined with the gameplay from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Metal Gear Survive is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
