We already talked about Ben Brode and how he left the Hearthstone development team, but it seems like more people have left Blizzard. Hamilton Chu responded to a tweet from Brode in which he said that it was his last day at Blizzard, and Chu responded by saying “Weird! It was mine too…”, but he didn’t specify why or anything like that which Brode did. This is definitely weird, as he didn’t say anything about this to anyone besides this tweet, which is quite strange.
We don’t know what’s going on in the Hearthstone development team, but they just lost Ben Brode and Hamilton Chu, who was a Hearthstone Executive Producer. Could there be some trouble in the team that’s making people leave or are they simply just going to do new things? We don’t know, and we may never find out, but it could be possible that Hamilton left to work together with Brode on his new project, but nothing is for certain. Let’s just hope that this doesn’t mean that the progress in Hearthstone gets stopped, as they have just released one expansion, and they have more in store for the Year of the Raven that just began.
Hamilton Chu will be missed, so let’s just wish him luck with whatever he’s going to do in the future. It would be really interesting if he ends up working with Brode again.
