Naughty Dog References Removed From Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy on Other Platforms

As previously reported, Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy has been confirmed for release on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on July 10th. The original release of the trilogy on PS4 featured a number of Naughty Dog easter eggs during the opening cutscene, surrounding a sticker and image of Uncharted protagonist Nathan Drake, though it appears these have been removed.

As you can see from the two following images provided by GearNuke, it seems as if they have taken out the references to Naughty Dog completely. This might not come too much as a surprise to some, given the platforms that they are releasing on, with Naughty Dog being a first party studio over at Sony Interactive.

If you take a look at the laptop that CoCo Bandicoot is using, usually there is a scene from Uncharted 4, which has now been replaced by one of Crash Bandicoot. The other reference in question comes from a sticker on the laptop, which previously showed Nathan Drake on the machine.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is now available on PS4, and rather excitingly, will launch on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. It will be the first Crash game to appear for either Xbox or Nintendo in nearly a decade, whilst it will mark the debut of the beloved mascot on PC.
